For this cache, you will need at minimum:
- A hard hat
- A torch
- Old clothes, you will get dusty, possibly muddy depending on the weather
Fauna
Although I have not personally seen bats in this location, it is the type of place that they could choose to make home. Remember that it is illegal to intentionally or recklessly disturb a roosting bat, so please avoid all interaction, including lights and cameras, should you see one.
There are many cave spiders here. Near the entrance they are very small, but about 25' in on my last visit I spotted the largest one I have seen so far. It's possible they might nip if provoked, but they are not poisonous.
Safety
Please let someone know where you are going before you attempt this cache. It should only take a few minutes if you are able bodied, not of large build, and only going to the cache and back. But allow longer if wanting to go on past the cache, or taking photos etc.
I have rated the cache at T4.5 because apart from that noted above, no specialist equipment is required. But there are real dangers, first and foremost possible rockfall. After the final cache location the dangers of large rockfall increase, please do not adventure further unless you have previous caving experience. Although compared to an Abanazar cache this is a walk in the park, I still echo his cache pages words.. "If you are unsure at any point then please retreat and walk away".
