It’s been a little while since the last ACT 1000 Club caches was published, however I’ve managed to get it all back on the track so the latest members can now be recognised.
There have been a couple of issues with being able to navigate to cachers milestones, so there is a change in the format of how we highlight that a cacher has join the ranks of the 1000 finds. The tribute caches will now be a Traditional cache, meaning no more searching for the actual 1000th find. Some cachers may say woo hoo, some may be disappointed not to scroll through lots of logs, however with the number of cachers hitting the magical 1000 finds, it will be a tad easier for all concerned to be able to just head out and find the cache.
Another change has been the location. The (almost) ‘Full’ sign has gone up at Callum Brae, where 19 of the previous 20 tribute caches are hidden. So, to find the caches in series from number 21 onwards, a visit to Mt Stromlo will be required. No doubt there will be room for another 20 or so within this area, so if you like finding these caches, you may get to visit one or twice.
Now, onto this cache and the next 6 members of the ACT 1000 Club, who are:
Liv81 – found cache no. 1000 in Feb 2016
ZimbaW – found cache no. 1000 in Mar 2016
joeylovestreasure - found cache no. 1000 in Apr 2016
chips n gravy – found cache no. 1000 in Apr 2016
DARKSIDEDAN – found cache no. 1000 in Jun 2016
trodectus – who slipped through my exhaustive research process (??) and actually found their 1000th cache in Apr 2014. Apologies trodectus, but good things come to those who wait.
Congrats to these new 1000 Club members, some of whom have already found 2000. Addictive isn’t it!!!!
