New Market Mallers: Between the pandemic and then renovations to this branch, it has been 4 years since this cache was last found. As a result of the renovations, this cache had to be completely redone. So I will archive this version of the cache and a new one will be coming shortly.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the New York Public Library system! This cache has limited hours of availability, which are listed below on the cache page. The library is currently offering a limited service and is undergoing renovations. It is however open and the cache easily accessible. To find this cache you are going to have to solve a small field puzzle using the listed virtual waypoint.

Coordinates will take you to where the cache can be found but to locate it you are going to have to travel to the listed virtual waypoint and answer a few simple questions.

To find the exact location of the cache solve the puzzle below. The cache is large enough for Travel Bugs so please trade, only taking those that you intend to log and place quickly.

Where:

B = the 4th letter the 7 letter Pole erected Under British Rule?

C = the 2nd letter of the 5 letter 'Row' that was constructed about the time of the American Revolution

E = the 8th letter and F = the 3rd letter of the 8 letter temporary structures that were built around the time of the civil war?

G = the 2nd letter and H = the 9th letter of the 9 letter fountain constructed around the time of the 99th Mayor of New York

I = the 6th letter of the 6 letter 2 small buildings that were added during the most recent period of renovation

X = the number of maps here – 4. Expressed as a roman numeral

J = the number of letters in the line that was added along Broadway during the great expansion

K = the number of occurrences of the letter P in the name of the 5 letter fountain that first appears around the same time as the federal post office

L = The number of letters in the first word of the two letter word famous building was built between 1800 and 1835 that still stands and is in use today

M = the number of windmills in the area between 1625 and 1664.
