If you are looking for a nighttime adventure in Auburn, this will take you on a nice stroll. All waypoints except the Final are reachable by wheelchair, but it may be easier if someone not so restricted is along to get some waypoints along the way due to height or lowness of the media displaying the coordinates. You will likely want to drive to the final as it is several blocks from the last waypoint, and the Final location is NOT wheelchair accessible. This cache has been re-worked due to the fire at several waypoints in December 2017 and closing or moving of other stores originally included in the original waypoints, effective October 2020. Please do not use old data or GPS loaded coordinates.
This walk down East Main Street in Auburn will give you a great stroll down one of the major streets in the area. Your starting point is the posted coordinates, and now includes only three intermediate waypoints and the Final. At your first stop, you will find a clue to where to look for the next stage in this night cache. At all waypoints, you are seeking various electronic displays. We have listed clues to help you locate the various stages in this puzzle, and have provided a variety of means of coordinates for the next stage. That means that no two devices you will find are the same display type. You will be looking for something electronic that will give you coordinates that are visible only at night. Therefore, please only search for this at night so you can see ALL the locations you need to visit. We hope you have as much fun finding the night cache as we had putting this project together. The main intent is for you to have fun while finding a night cache, as we know many of you love to go night caching, and this will provide another opportunity in a different area. VERY IMPORTANT: Don't forget to do the math at each location as instructed, and check sums have been provided for each location to help you determine if you have the correct coordinates.
