Macumba diz respeito a um antigo instrumento musical de percussão africano. No Brasil, popularmente, passou a referir-se aos despachos, oferendas feitas em áreas públicas por praticantes de religiões de matriz africana. É relativamente usual encontrar estas oferendas enquanto estamos buscando geocaches por aqui e resolvi consultar pessoas mais entendidas sobre como me portar para não ofender essas entidades ou estes religiosos durante minhas buscas. Segundo me informaram, a parte mística e energética acontece apenas durante a cerimônia, de forma que o que sobra são meros objetos que, inclusive, poderiam ser recolhidos e adequadamente descartados pelos religiosos. Por nossa vez, praticantes de geocaching, poderiamos praticar CITO retirando estes elementos do meio natural. Enfim, cada um decide o que fazer nestes casos. Especificamente quanto a este cache, o container foi achado no meio de uma parque em São Caetano e parece que um dia abrigou uma vela. O que era lixo tornou-se um elemento do jogo. Você vai por as mãos nele?
Macumba is about an old African percussion musical instrument. In Brazil, popularly referred to the dispatches, offerings made in public areas by practitioners of religions of African matrix. It is relatively usual to find these offerings while we are searching for geocaches here and I have decided to consult more knowledgeable people about how to behave in order not to offend these entities or religious during my search. As I was informed, the mystical and energetic part happens only during the ceremony, so that what is left are mere objects that could even be collected and properly discarded by the religious. In turn, practicing geocaching, we could practice CITO by removing these elements in the natural environment. Anyway, everyone decides what to do in these cases. In the specific case of this cache, the container was found in the middle of a park in São Caetano and it seems that one day it housed a candle. What was rubbish became an element of the game. Are you going to lay your hands on him?
