When Wade Watts enters The OASIS as Parzival in search of Halliday's Easter Egg he has to supply every line of dialogue for Matthew Broderick's character in the film "WarGames" in order to progress in his quest (in the novel). We are not going to be that harsh. The challenge is to supply just the next line of dialogue for each of five classic films from the Eighties.
Follow the link below to enter our own version of The OASIS in 2D form. Supply your caching name as your login and then the first film clip will appear. After playing a short segment of the film it will stop and you just need to type in the next line of dialogue.
You have two minutes to submit your answer from when the film clip starts! Capitalisation and punctuation is not important, but you do need to get all of the key words right. You will be notified if you are correct or not and another clip will be shown. Get it wrong and you lose one of your five lives. The OASIS will continue to present new film clips until you submit five answers correctly or you lose all your lives. The cache coordinates and hint will be revealed when you have succeeded in your task.
On completion you will be awarded a final score for your efforts based on the speed of your correct answers and your remaining lives. Can you make the High Scores table and beat Parzival?
