Du står nu vid Masthuggskyrkan, vars siluett av många ses som en symbol för staden Göteborg.
Den tidstypiska, nationalromantiska kyrkan ritades av arkitekten Sigfrid Ericson och invigdes 1914. Härifrån har du en strålande utsikt över såväl centrala Göteborg som hamninloppet. Vid de två referenspunkterna (Utsikt Väst och Utsikt Öst) ser du några av Göteborgs mest välkända byggnader och platser. Hittar du alla?

Älvsborgsbron
900 meter lång hängbro som förbinder Hisingen med fastlandet. När bron invigdes år 1966 var den Sveriges längsta.
Eriksbergs Bockkran
Bockkranen färdigställdes 1969 och var en del av Eriksbergs varv där den möjliggjorde montering av fartyg som vägde upp till 500 000 ton. Kranen är numera den enda av sitt slag i Sverige och är klassad som byggnadsminne.
Sjömanshustrun
Ivar Johnssons skulptur Kvinna vid Havet är placerad på toppen av Sjömanstornet vid Sjöfartsmuseet Akvariet. Tornet restes till minne av de sjömän som omkom under första världskriget.

Ramberget

Kranarna vid Göta Älv
Kranarna är inte längre i bruk men är ett av de mest fotograferade objekten i Göteborg.
Läppstiftet
Den röda och vita ”skyskrapan” designades av Ralph Erskine och stod klart 1989. Byggnadens formella namn är Lilla Bommen och är i dagsläget den näst högsta i Göteborg.
Liseberg
Skandinaviens största nöjespark invigdes 1923 och behöver nog ingen närmre beskrivning.
Oscar Fredriks Kyrka
Denna iögonfallande byggnad ritades av arkitekten Helgo Zetterwall. Den invigdes 1893 och är ett utmärkt exempel på nygotisk stil.
Skansen Kronan och Haga
Bakom Oscar Fredriks Kyrka syns Skansen Kronan, som är en före detta försvarsansläggning från slutet av 1600-talet. Härifrån har du utsikt över staden och du kan också passa på att promenera omkring i pitoreska och kafétäta Haga.
Slottsskogen
Till höger ser du det gamla vattentornet från 1899 och stadsparken Slottsskogen, som är väl värt ett besök.

ENG: Gothenburg at Your Feet
You are standing at the top of Stigberget, next to the church Masthuggskyrkan which is one of Gothenburg's most well-known landmarks.
This National Romantic church was designed by architect Sigfrid Ericson and it's very typical for the period. Masthuggskyrkan first opened in 1914. From here you have amazing views over central Gothenburg and the harbour.From the Reference Points (View West and View East) you can spot some of Gothenburg's other landmarks. Can you find them all?

The district of Majorna/Kungsladugård
If you ask CO this is Gothenburgs nicest area. It's packed with cafés, restaurants and small shops. Please, come and see for yourselves! 
The Älvsborg Bridge
A 900 meter long suspension bridge over Göta River. It connects the Hising Island with the mainland and when it was built in 1966 it was the longest bridge in Sweden.
The Eriksberg Crane
This red harbour crane was completed in 1969, making it possible to fix ships as large as nearly 500 000 tonnes. Today it's the only one of its kind left in Sweden and is considered a notable building, to be preserved for the future.
The Seaman's Wife
Ivar Johnsson's sculpture Woman by the Sea is placed on top of the Seaman Tower by the Maritime Museum/Aquarium. The tower was raised in honour of those who lost their lives during WW1.

Ramberget (The Raven Hill)
If you want to have a good view from the other side of the Göta River, pay a visit to this small mountain. If the sky is clear you can see as far as the Vinga Lighthouse.
The Old Cranes at the Göta River
These cranes are no longer in use, but they are one of the most photographed objects in Gothenburg.
The Lipstick Building
The red and white skyscraper, designed by Ralph Eriskine, was completed in 1989. The formal name of the house is Lilla Bommen and it's the second highest buildning in the city.
Liseberg
Scandinavia's largest amusement park opened in 1923 och it probably doesn't need any further introduction.
Oscar Fredrik's Church
This eyecatching building was designed by the architect Helgo Zetterwall. It opened in 1893 and is a fine example of the Neo-Gothic style.
Skansen Kronan and Haga
Behind Oscar Fredrik's Church you can see Skansen Kronan, which is a former fortification from the late 1700th century. From here you have a stunning view over the city and you can also take a stroll in picturesque Haga, which is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Gothenburg.
Slottsskogen
Far to the right you can see the old water tower from 1899 and the big park Slottsskogen, which is worth a visit.
To log this cache you need to:
1. Find the arch you see in the picture. Inside the arch is a door with an ornament above. How would you describe it? Send the answer to CO by email or the message centre on GC.com.
2. Find out in what direction your home coordinates are. Take a picture of yourself in that direction, preferably with a nice view in the background. You do not need to show your face.
