Marieholm är en gård i Mariestad belägen på en holme i ån Tidan. Gården har varit både kungsgård och länsresidens i det gamla Skaraborgs län (R). Marieholm har gett namn till stadsdelen med samma namn. Idag inrymmer gården bland annat Vadsbo Museum.
Kungsgården, ursprungligen benämnd Tunaholm, kom i hertig Karls (senare Carl IX) besittning år 1571. Invid den grundade han år 1583 staden Mariestad, namngiven efter hans hustru Maria av Pfalz, och gården fick byta namn till Marieholm. På holmens norra del lät hertigen uppföra en stor mangårdsbyggnad i timmer på stengrund, den så kallade "Stora konungsbyggningen". Efter Karl IX:s död år 1611 lämnades gården åt förfall.
Efter att landshövdingarna i det år 1634 bildade Skaraborgs län haft säte på Höjentorp och Götala kungsgård utanför Skara anvisades år 1660 den nye landshövdingen Thord Ulfsson Bonde Marieholms kungsgård som boställe och Mariestad blev residensstad. Genom tillbyggnader och reparationer försökte flera landshövdingar förbättra den nedgångna gården och 1730 började den nuvarande huvudbyggnaden uppföras i Karolinsk stil. 1851 byggdes huvudbyggnaden på med en ny våning under ledning av Johan Fredrik Åbom.
Till gården hörde förr förutom residenset området vid Trädgårdens skola, länsstyrelsens lokaler samt parken Alhagen, Länsfängelset (allmänt känt som Vita duvan) och kronoparken.

Marieholm is an estate in Mariestad located on an islet in Tidan creek. This mansion has been used as a royal estate, as well as the county govenor's residence in what used to be Skaraborg County. There is also a neigborhood in Mariestad called Marieholm. Today, among other things, the Vadsbo museum is located here.
The royal estate, originally called Tunaholm, was aquired by Duke Karl (the future King Carl IX) in 1571. Closeby he founded the town of Mariestad in 1583, named after his wife Maria of Pfalz. The estate was then given a new name, Marieholm. At the north end of the islet the Duke had a large manor-house built. It was constructed out of timber, with a stone foundation. People called it "the King's great building". Following the death of Carl IX in 1611 the building became derelict.
The County of Skaraborg was founded in 1634. The early county govenors resided at the royal estates of Höjentorp and Götala. In 1660 the new county govenor Thord Ulfsson Bonde was assigned to live at Marieholm and Mariestad became the county seat. With new additions and repairs several county govenors attempted to improve the run-down estate. In 1730 the current main building was constructed in the Carolus style. Another floor was added to the main building in 1851, under the supervision of Johan Fredrik Åbom.
Besides the residence and it's grounds, the Garden School, Alhagen park, the County jail (known as the White Dove) and a wooded area referred to as the Park of the Crown was also part of the estate.
