This Cache is located at the beautiful Playa Bayahibe. This beach is open for everyone. Next to this public beach is a large hotel resort. On the other side you have many market stalls and small restaurants direct at the beach.
Every day there are a lot of speedboats and catamarans starting from here to the "Isla Saona" and the "Isla Catalina". Two of the most beautiful islands in the Dominican Republic. The beach is a popular destination for day-trippers from the whole region.
Reason for me to place a cache here was, that i'm staying nearly every year some weeks in the Dominican Republic, right next to this beach area and i felt in love with the country and the people here.
Logging requirments for this cache are:
- Take a photo from you or your GPS with the boats at the beach in the background. There is a very small chance that there are no boats, than please take the market stalls as a background.
- There is a diving school at the beach, what is the name of them?

Este escondite "se encuentra" en la hermosa playa de Bayahibe. Esta playa está abierta para todos. Al lado de esta playa pública se encuentra un gran complejo hotelero. Por otro lado, hay muchos puestos de mercado y pequeños restaurantes en la playa.
Todos los días salen muchas lanchas rápidas y catamaranes para visitar las dos islas más famosas y bellas de la República Dominicana, las islas de Saona y Catalina. Además, esta playa es un destino popular para personas de toda la región.
La razón por la que puse un caché aquí es que casi todos los años pasé unas semanas cerca de esta playa y me enamoré por completo de este país y su gente.
Requisitos de registro:
- Tome una foto de usted o su GPS con los barcos en la playa en el fondo. Hay una posibilidad muy pequeña de que no tenga barcos, luego tome los puestos del mercado como fondo.
- Hay una escuela de buceo en la playa, ¿cómo se llama?

Dieser Cache "liegt" am wunderschönen Strand von Bayahibe. Dieser Strand ist offen für Jeden. Neben diesem öffentlich Strand liegt ein grosses Hotel Resort. Auf der anderen Seite hat es viele Marktstände und kleine Restaurants direkt am Strand.
Jeden Tag legen hier viele Schnellboote und Katamarane ab, welche die beiden bekanntesten und schönsten Inseln der Dominikanischen Republik anfahren, die Inseln Saona und Catalina. Ausserdem ist dieser Strand ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für die Menschen aus der ganzen Region.
Der Grund für mich einen Cache hier zu platzieren ist es, dass ich fast jedes Jahr einige Wochen in der Nähe dieses Strandes verbringe und mich total in dieses Land und seine Leute verliebt habe.
Log Voraussetzungen:
- Mache ein Foto von dir oder deinem GPS mit den Booten am Strand im Hintergrund. Es gibt eine sehr kleine Chance, dass es mal keine Boote hat, dann nehmt bitte die Marktstände als Hintergrund.
- Am Strand gibt es eine Tauchschule, wie heisst diese?
