EL FAR DE CAP DE CREUS
El Cap de Creus és un espai de gran bellesa, dotat d'una configuració geológica singular, amb estructures i afloraments que formen un conjunt únic al mon. L'efecte de la tramuntana ha fet que apareixin formes d'erosió curioses i ha transformat el paisatge d'una forma molt especial.
La Torre del Cap de Creus, de guaita davant el perill de la pirateria, ja existia el 1385 quan el rei Pere el Cerimoniós, en ratificar els privilegis de Cadaqués. Aquesta torre es destruí el 1433. Durant la història sempre va ser un punt estratégic.
En la punta de l'Esquena es va construir, al 1853, el Far que veiem avui dia. És el segon més antic de Catalunya. Desde llavors ha patit diferents modificacions per actualitzar-lo i mantenir-lo.

La Torre del Cap de Creus, de vigia ante el peligro de la pirateira, ya existia el 1385 cuando el rey Pere el Ceremonioso, ratificó los privilegios de Cadaqués. Esta torre fué derruida el 1433. Durante la história siempre ha sido una punto estratégico.
En la punta de l'Esquena, se construyó, en el 1853, el Faro que vemos hoy en dia. Es el segundo más antiguo de Cataluña. Desde entonces ha sufrido diferentes modificaciones para actualizarlo y mantenerlo.

Le Cap de Creus est un espace de grande beauté, doté d'une configuration géologique unique, avec des structures et des affleurements qui forment un ensemble unique dans le monde. L'effet de la tramuntana a conduit à l'apparition de formes d'érosion capricieuse et a transformé le paysage de manière très spéciale
La tour du Cap de Creus, gardée par le danger du pirate, existait déjà en 1385 lorsque le roi Père les Ceremonies ratifia les privilèges de Cadaqués. Cette tour a été démolie en 1433. Au cours de l'histoire, elle a toujours été un point stratégique.
Au bout de l'Esquena, le phare que nous avons vu aujourd'hui a été construit en 1853. C'est la deuxième plus ancienne de Catalogne. Depuis, il a subi différentes modifications pour la mettre à jour et la maintenir.

The Cap de Creus is a beautifull site of Alt Empordà, it has a very particular beatyful geological formations unic in the world. Thru out the years, the Tramontana wind and rain have erosionated the rocks, sculpting this mystical and curious shapes, giving this place an unike and wonderful landscape.
The tower of Cap De Creus was an important sight point looking for the pirates. It dates from 1385. During his history it has been a important strategic point.
The lighthouse we see today was built at 1853. It is the second oldest in Catalonia. Since then it has undergone different modifications to update and maintain it.
