Själevads kyrka är en kyrkobyggnad i Själevad. Kyrkan är en församling i Härnösands stift. År 1998 utsågs byggnaden till Sveriges vackraste kyrka av tidningen Året Runts läsare. Från den åttkantiga kyrkan har man utsikt över Själevadsfjärden och Moälvens dalgång. Kyrkan är en populär vigselkyrka och har ett rikt musikutbud med många konserter under året samt flera aktiva körer. Den nuvarande kyrkan ersatte en medeltida kyrka som låg i närheten. Den gamla kyrkbyggnaden var ett enkelt rektangulärt stenhus utan torn, helgad åt S:t Olof. Innerväggarna var prydda med målningar, vilka överkalkades vid en reparation på 1700-talet. Den 29 maj 1876 påbörjades rivningen av kyrkan, utan att tillstånd inhämtats. Byggnaden var så robust byggd att man till slut fick spränga bort den. Projektet hemlighölls ända till verkställandet, eftersom man befarade våldsamma protester från församlingsborna. Nuvarande kyrka började byggas 1876 och invigdes den 12 september 1880 av biskop Lars Landgren. Stilen är delvis nyklassicistisk med kolonnprydda gavlar liknande ett grekiskt tempel och med ett ljust och luftigt kyrkorum. Innertakets nuvarande takkupol tillkom vid en renovering 1923.
Själevads Church is a building in Själevad, Sweden. The church is a church community in Härnösand's peninsula. In 1998, the building was elected Sweden's most beautiful church, by the magazine Året Runt's readers. From the octagonal church you have a view of Själevadsfjärden and the valley of Moälven. The church is a popular wedding location and has a rich music selection with many concerts during the year and several active choirs. The present building replaced a medieval church nearby. The old church was a simple rectangular stone building without towers, dedicated to St. Olof. The interior walls were covered with paintings, which were overcooled during an repair in the 18th century. On May 29, 1876, the demolition of the church began, without permission from the government. The church was so robust built they had to blow it up. The project was kept a secret until execution, because it may cause violent protests from the villagers. They began to build the present church in 1876 and it was opened in September 12 1880 by Bishop Lars Landgren. The style is partly neoclassical with columnar ornate gables similar to a Greek temple and with a bright and airy church hall. The inner ceilings dome was added during a renovation in 1923
