Geocache Description:

[This virtual cache is located on the Purple People Bridge spanning the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Newport, one of our favorite places to walk in downtown Cincinnati. The view from this location is awesome, allowing you to see the Cincinnati stadiums, the Queen City crowned skyscraper, and the Newport and Cincinnati skyline. It can be walked, jogged or biked. It is a short walk from either side of the river and is worth the short journey. You must walk to the virtual location on the bridge in order to fulfill the requirements of the cache. At the virtual site you will find two markers that delineate the border between the Ohio and Kentucky side of the river. Two pictures are located on this cache page to confirm you are in the correct location. In order to qualify for and to log this cache you must complete the following: 1)Take a picture of yourself that provides proof that you were caching in both states at once - you can be creative with how you choose to do this, but the picture must meet this requirement. OR 2)For the 4 people on the planet that either do not own a smartphone, are afraid to use one, or are afraid that having a picture taken of themselves somehow steals their soul, you can qualify for this cache by emailing me the answer to the following questions: 1)Look to the south and list three animals that are located on the side of the building. 2)Look to the southwest and list all the numbers located on the right cement pylon of the bridge closest to the Purple People Bridge. 3)To the east there is a restaurant along the river's edge that has an orange roof...what is the name of this restaurant? 4)To the southwest, there is a river that joins the Ohio River directly across from Red's stadium...what is the name of this river? 5)At the virtual site there is number on the vertical purple beam on the south side of the bridge...what is this number? 6)If you are facing Cincinnati, which direction is downstream...right or left? Answers or pictures that do not meet the above requirements will be deleted. Access to the bridge from the Cincinnati side has many parking options and the lot by the serpentine wall is listed under the waypoints but there are several other lots available and parking in KY at Newport on the levee is also a viable option .]

This Virtual Cache is part of a limited release of Virtuals created between August 24, 2017 and August 24, 2018. Only 4,000 cache owners were given the opportunity to hide a Virtual Cache. Learn more about Virtual Rewards on the Geocaching Blog.
