古代においておみくじは国の命運や後継者を選ぶ際に神の意志を占うために行われており、
これがおみくじの起源とされております。
現在のおみくじは参詣者が個人の吉凶を佔うために行われるもので、
これは鎌倉時代初期からの始まったかたちであります。
こちらの浅草寺では観音百籤(くじ番号が1-100)とよばれるものを採用しており、
なんと、凶30％・吉35％・末吉6％・半吉5％・小吉4％・末小吉3％・大吉17％と
配分まで細かく決められております。
本来おみくじはこの割合であるべきなのですが、
他の寺社では参拝者に忖度し凶の割合を減らしているそうです。
ということは、浅草寺のおみくじに凶が多いのではなく、
他の寺社のおみくじに凶が少ない(または無い)だけという事になります。
ようするに浅草寺は ガチ です。
この顧客至上主義の中で参拝者に絶対に媚びない、忖度しない素晴らしい寺院です。
結局いいことしか言わない人って信用されないですよね？
自分の悪いところも注意してくれる人こそ親友と呼べる存在になると思います。
浅草寺のおみくじはそんな存在です。
