Typicka virtualna keska ukaze ludom jedno zaujimave miesto, sprostredkuje im o nom zakladne informacie a na oplatku za to od nich ziada odpovede na vybrane otazky, pripadne ich fotografiu (bez tvare, kvoli zachovaniu anonymity). Nebolo by mozne tento klasicky scenar nejak ozivit? Urobit to inak, ale najma, urobit to zabavnejsie? Co tak ukazat ludom nie iba jedno miesto, ale napriklad az patdesiat alebo sto miest, ci dokonca cele mesto? Nezatazovat ich informaciami, netrapit otazkami, ziadat od nich iba jedinu vec - ich fotografiu so sirokym usmevom na tvari. Pritom ani trochu nevybocit z pravidiel pre virtualne kesky, ba prave naopak - dopriat ludom virtualnejsi zazitok ako im ponuka vacsina virtualnych kesiek. Bolo by to mozne? Nuz, skusme to!
Pravidla geocachingu hovoria, ze poslanim virtualnej kesky je objavovanie miest, nie hladanie krabiciek. Zabudnime teda na chvilku na krabicky a podme spolocne objavovat jedno miesto - Bratislavu, hlavne mesto Slovenska. Podla klasickeho scenara by sme sem mali o nej nieco pekne a zmysluplne napisat. My to ale neurobime. V dnesnej dobe informacnych technologii je to tak trochu zbytocne. Vsetko podstatne o nej totiz mozno najst a vygooglit si na internete. Vdaka nastrojom akymi su Wikipedia, Google Maps, YouTube a pod. nemusime v podstate nikam chodit a Bratislavu, ci ine mesta a miesta mozeme virtualne navstivit a spoznat aj z pohodlia domova, cez pocitac ci mobil. Textove informacie, fotografie, videa su pre nas zvycajne zakladnym zdrojom informacii. Mozeme vsak vyuzit aj modernejsie nastroje, akymi su napriklad virtualne prehliadky miest, ktore umoznuju vizualne spoznat ich najkrajsie dominanty a ziskat o nich informacie pritazlivou interaktivnou formou.
V ramci rozvoja cestovneho ruchu a zviditelnovania Bratislavy, jej historie a pamiatok si bratislavska mestska samosprava povedala, ze aj ona chce byt moderna a rozhodla sa prezentovat nase mesto na internete technologicky modernym sposobom, konkretne projektom VIRTUALNA BRATISLAVA. Jedna sa o subor virtualnych prehliadok dominant hlavneho mesta a jeho zaujimavych priestorov, ktory ponuka moznost prezriet si 'na vlastne oci' miesta, ktore by chcel clovek navstivit. Ak chcete aj vy vizualne spoznat hlavne dominanty nasho mesta, pripadne o nich ziskat zakladne informacie, navstevu tejto stranky vam vrele odporucame. Najdete tu panoramaticke zabery Bratislavskeho hradu, Michalskej brany, Hlavneho namestia, hradu Devin, mnohych sakralnych objektov, ale aj Sad Janka Krala ci Zeleznu studienku ... teda viacmenej vsetko podstatne co stoji v meste za navstevu. Je mozne, ze po absolvovani tychto virtualnych prehliadok mnohym z vas napadne otazka, ci ma este nejaky zmysel cestovat do Bratislavy, ked vsetko podstatne ste videli a virtualne navstivili cez internet. Nuz, na tuto otazku si bude musiet kazdy z vas najst svoju vlastnu odpoved. Co je vsak iste je to, ze virtualna navsteva Bratislavy vam na zalogovanie tejto virtualnej kesky urcite stacit nebude. A mozno vam na zalogovanie nebude stacit ani bezna osobna navsteva.
Ak chcete zalogovat tuto virtualnu kesku, musite sa totiz aj vy, aspon na kratku chvilu, stat virtualnymi. Ako to urobit?
1. Vyrobte alebo si zozente masku pripominajucu ikonku virtualnej kesky. Maska moze zakryvat celu postavu, alebo iba vasu tvar. 2. Vyrobte si tabulku s vasim virtualnym menom, t.j. gc nickom alebo avatarom. Tabulka moze byt z papiera, kartonu, dreva (swg), ... pripadne mozete meno napisat priamo na masku.
3. Oblecte si masku, zoberte tabulku a odfotte sa na 10 roznych miestach v historickom centre Bratislavy alebo v blizkom okoli. Prvych 5 miest je povinnych (su to vyznamne miesta nachadzajuce sa v roznych castiach Bratislavy, ktore vznikli v roznych obdobiach jeho dejin a sluzia roznemu spolocenskeho ucelu - oznacene su ako WP01-05), zvysnych 5 miest si vyberte podla vlastneho uvazenia zo zvysneho zoznamu waypointov.

Fotografia #1 s Bratislavskym hradom musi byt urobena s citatelnou tabulkou. Ostatne fotografie mozu byt aj bez tabulky. Zopar prikladov ako by vase fotografie mohli/mali vyzerat uvidite, ak kliknete na obrazok nizsie.

4. Do vasho logu pripojte vsetkych 10 fotografii, pripadne dobrovolne aj dalsie. Pri fotografiach inych ako #1-#5, mozete uviest preco ste si dane miesto vybrali, cim vas zaujalo, pripadne aky k nemu mate vztah.
Tesime sa na vase napady, logy a fotografie. Budte kreativni a originalni. Dajte priestor svojej fantazii! ZVIRTUALIZUJME SPOLOCNE CELU BRATISLAVU!

A typical virtual cache shows people one interesting place, gives you some basic information about it and in return you are requested to answer some select questions and eventually submit your photo (without the face to retain anonymity). Would it be possible to modify and vitalize this classical scenario? Make it different, but mainly make it much more enjoyable? How about showing people not just one place, but instead up to hundred different places? Or even the whole city? Get rid of the basic information, do not tease them with questions. Instead ask them to do just one thing - to submit their photo with a big smile on their face. And above all, do it without breaking any virtual cache guidelines, but rather the other way round - give people an unusual virtual experience they could not get on any other existing virtual cache. So let’s forget about containers and come to discover one very special location - Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. It is usual to write something nice and meaningful about the topic of the cache, right? Well, we will not do so. Why? In the current world of IT, this is simply a waste of time. Everything you want to know about Bratislava, you can easily Google and find on the internet. Thanks to services such as Wikipedia, Google Maps and YouTube we do not have to go anywhere. We can visit Bratislava or other cities and places virtually and learn about them from the comfort of our homes using computers or mobile phones. Text information, photos, videos are usually our primarily information sources. However, we can also use advanced tools such as virtual city tours that allow us to visit the city's most beautiful landmarks and gain information about it in an attractive interactive form.
Within the framework of tourism development and visualization of Bratislava, its history and landmarks, Bratislava city self-government decided to stay modern and cool and present our city on the internet via a technologically modern approach called VIRTUAL BRATISLAVA. It is a collection of virtual tours of the city's most popular locations and its spectacular spaces, that offer people the opportunity to see 'with their own eyes' places they may like to visit. If you want to get to know the main landmarks of our capital city and get some basic information about it, I strongly recommend you to visit this website. You will find the panoramic views of Bratislava Castle, Michael’s Gate, Main Square, Devin Castle, many sacred buildings, but also Janko Kral Orchards or Forest park of Zelezna studienka ... all in all almost everything worth visiting in the city. It is quite possible that after completing these virtual tours, many of you may question, whether it makes any sense to travel to Bratislava when you already saw and visited it all on your computer. Well, you will have to answer this question for yourself. However what is more than certain is that the virtual visit of Bratislava will not be enough for you to log this virtual cache. Actually, it may happen that even your personal visit will not be enough for you to log it. Why?
If you want to log this virtual cache, you have to become virtual too. How to do it?
1. Make or get yourself a costume/mask resembling the virtual cache icon. The costume may cover either your entire body or just your face. The choice of the mask material, the style and the quality of production depends on you, your imagination, creativity, playfulness, excitement, budget, but mainly on your passion for the game and willingness to be entertained. Consider the difficulty of the cache being D4 when designing your mask, so it should not be a virtual cache icon printed on A4-size paper.
2. Make yourself a sign with your virtual name, i.e. your geocaching nickname or avatar. The sign can be made out of paper, cardboard, wood, ... or you can write your nickname directly on the costume/mask.
3. Dress up in the costume/mask, grab the sign and take photos at 10 different places in the historical center of Bratislava or its surroundings. Five of them are mandatory (these are the important places located in various parts of Bratislava, established during various periods of its history and serving different social purposes, and are listed as WP01-05), the other five places you can freely choose from the additional waypoints.

4. Attach all 10 photos to your log. For the photos other than #1-#5, you may indicate why you chose the location, what you found interesting about it, or what drew you to it.
