Schloss Marienburg

Das Schloss Marienburg ist eine Schlossanlage, die König Georg V. von Hannover von 1858 bis 1869 als Sommerresidenz, Jagdschloss und späteren Witwensitz erbauen ließ. Es war ein Geschenk an seine Ehefrau, Königin Marie, zu ihrem 39. Geburtstag am 14. April 1857. Königin Marie und ihre Tochter Mary bewohnten das Schloss in den Jahren 1866 bis 1869. Nach ihrer Abreise ins Exil wurde das Schloss für fast 80 Jahre nur vom Hausmeister und ab 1945 vorübergehend von Flüchtlingen und von der Familie von Ernst August (III.) bewohnt. Heute ist es im Privatbesitz von Ernst August Prinz von Hannover jun. Es befindet sich in der Region Hannover auf dem Marienberg südwestlich von Schulenburg, einem Ortsteil von Pattensen.

Eure Aufgabe besteht darin, die oben angegebenen Koordinaten aufzusuchen, euch umzuschauen und herausfinden wieviele Holzgauben vom Schlosshof aus zu sehen sind. Parken dürft ihr gebührenfrei an den Parkpiatzkoordinaten.

The castle of Marienburg is a palace that King George V of Hanover built from 1858 to 1869 as a summer residence, hunting castle and later widow seat. It was a gift to his wife, Queen Marie, for her 39th birthday on April 14, 1857. Queen Marie and her daughter Mary lived the castle in the years 1866 to 1869. After her departure into exile, the castle became for almost 80 years only by the caretaker and from 1945 temporarily by refugees and by the family of Ernst August (III.) inhabited. Today it is privately owned by Ernst August Prinz von Hannover jun. It is located in the Hannover region on the Marienberg southwest of Schulenburg, a district of Pattensen.
