Het Binnenhof is een gebouwencomplex in de binnenstad van Den Haag, dat al eeuwenlang het centrum is van de Hollandse en Nederlandse politiek. Het is ontstaan in de dertiende eeuw toen de Graven van Holland er een kasteel bouwden. Later werden zij opgevolgd door de stadhouders, de Staten van Holland en West-Friesland en de Staten-Generaal van de Nederlanden, respectievelijk de Staten-Generaal ten tijde van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, die deze locatie verkozen vanwege haar status als bestuurscentrum. Ook de minister-president, de hoogste politieke bestuurder van Nederland, heeft hier zijn kantoor, in 'het Torentje'.
Zoek de foto's op het openbaar toegankelijke terrein tussen de Grenadierspoort, Spuipoort en de Stadhouderspoort. Je hoeft nergens binnen te zoeken. Het bezoeken van deze plaats op de derde dinsdag van september is een uitdaging.

The Binnenhof (English: Inner Court) is a complex of buildings in the city centre of The Hague, Netherlands, next to the Hofvijver. It houses the area of assembly of both houses of the States’ General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. Built primarily in the 13th century, the Gothic castle originally functioned as residence of the counts of Holland and became the political center of the Dutch Republic in 1584. It is counted among the Top 100 Dutch heritage sites. The Binnenhof is the oldest House of Parliament in the world still in use.
Search the pictures in the public area between the Grenadierspoort, Spuipoort en de Stadhouderspoort. No need to go inside any buildings. Visiting this place on the third Tuesday of September is a challenge.
