ENGLISH: It used to be an old well. The legend has it that at the end of World War II, escaping Germans used it to dump their weapons. My father, as a small boy, remembers finding an unexploded grenade with his friends in the ditch in the lower part of the park after WWII ended (and how the adults were trying to get them away from it :-)). But he doesn't know if any guns were ever found in the actual well, which is filled with debris today.
CZ: Byvala studna na vodu. Legenda pravi, ze zde na konci valky prchajici Nemci odhodili sve zbrane. Muj otec si definitevne pamatuje (jako maly kluk) jak nasli s kamarady nevybuchly granat ve strouze v dolni casti parku po skonceni valky (a jak je dospeli od nej odhaneli :-)). Ale nevi jestli se nekdy nejake zbrane v samotne studne, ktera je dnes zasypana, nasly.
