Geocache Description:

Annaleise Carr (born March 12, 1998) of Norfolk County, Ontario became the youngest person to swim across Lake Ontario by the "traditional route" since Marilyn Bell  became the first of any age to do so.

At the time of her swim Annaleise was the youngest person to cross Lake Ontario  and set an international record to be the youngest swimmer to swim continuously in open water for more than 24hrs (24 Hour Club). Annaleise's swim from Niagara-On-The-Lake to Toronto's Marilyn Bell Park when calculated through GPS; Annaleise swum close to 70 km due to being pushed off course due to currents and waves of approx 6 ft high pushing back toward Niagara-on-the-Lake.

She was welcomed and cheered by the thousands that attended along with the media that was covering her story.

Cords are N 42 49.ABC  W 080 18.DEF

A = Subtract 2 from the date of the month that Marilyn Bell started her swim

B = The 2nd digit in the year that Annaleise completed her swim

C = The 2nd digit in the number of hours that it took Annaleise to complete her swim

D = The 1st digit in the distance of the swim

E = Take the 1st number of Annaleise’s age at the time she completed the swim and subtract it from the 2nd number of her age

F = The last digit of the date of the month that Annaleise completed her swim
