Le Fossé d'Effondrement d'Amange
Le bois d'Amange, situé dans la Fôret de Serre revet une originalité dans le Jura : c'est le seul grand affleurement de socle cristallin.
Il se présente comme un horst allongé du Nord-Est vers le Sud Ouest qui a gardé une grande partie de sa couverture sédimentaire.
Il est possible ici durant une centaire de mètres d'observer cette transgression.
Pour une meilleure comprehension, depuis le parking je vous suggère d'aller au plus loin ( coordonnées de la cache) avant de revenir sur vos pas). Si vous réalisez la série de l'ami CEPITIFLI ( https://coord.info/GC59Q2Z ) ; vous êtes dans le bon sens.
The wood of Amange, located in the Forest of Serre, has an originality in the Jura: it is the only great outcrop of crystalline basement.
Italie is show like as an elongated horst from the Northeast to the South West which has retained much of its sedimentary cover.
It is possible here for a hundred meters to observe this transgression.
