Entre Cafayate y Cachi , la ruta nacional 40 sirve de unión entre estas localidades de la provincia de Salta, tan apreciadas, y permite extasiarse con la geografía distinta y colorida de los Valles Calchaquíes.
Al dejar Cafayate en nuestro auto, teníamos por delante un trayecto de gran belleza natural con algunos pueblos donde el tiempo parece haberse detenido. Fueron en sus inicios parte del asentamiento de las fuerzas españolas en el Norte argentino y luego, con las misiones jesuíticas, se edificaron sus iglesias y algunas casas que aún permanecen.
Animaná, San Carlos, Angastaco, Molinos y Seclantás se asientan en esta ruta zigzagueante que en algunas partes es de ripio, en otras de arena o tierra. En Seclantás, donde viven las afamadas familias “teleras”, vimos hermosas prendas y tradicionales ponchos salteños en colores rojo y negro tendidos en los patios. Allí también, clavado en el piso, estaba el telar y una persona tejía como aprendiera de sus mayores.
En este imponente paisaje he ocultado un gran cache que sirva para depositar sus Travel Bugs. Mi objetivo es que se junten la mayor cantidad posible. Como siempre, puede intercambiar tantos TB como quiera. Si usted toma uno, ponga uno. Si usted intercambia 5 TB, ponga por favor 5 TB dentro. The Place

En Argentina el Geocaching todavía no es tan popular como en otros países, y es común que los geomuggles roben los cachés por simple diversión. Por lo tanto, busca y recoge el cache cuando nadie esté mirando, siempre intenta pasar desapercibido. y luego deja el caché tal y como lo hayas encontrado!
