Geocache Description:


Welcome to Brant County's first GeoArt! This GeoArt has been created to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday!

You will need to solve 50 puzzle caches in order to collect all 50 smilies! So, brush up on your Canadiana and start celebrating!

You MUST sign the logbook/logsheet in order to claim the smilie.

The geocache is NOT located at the posted coordinates.


UPDATE SEPTEMBER 28, 2017: At Stage 3 Part II, calculation change on the number of black benches.


You must travel to FOUR Bell-related locations around Brant County in order to collect the information needed to find the FINAL coordinates for the geocache container.


STAGE 1 (At CAIRN) To find the value of "V"

- Take the number in the 8th line = A
- Count the number of LARGE cut-out diamond shapes in the trim around the porch of the main house = B
- Subtract A-B=V


STAGE 2 (At MONUMENT) To find the value of "W"

- Count the number of decorative ceiling sections above the monument = C
- Count the number of stone slabs used to build the FOUR steps leading up to the monument = D
- Add C+D=E
- Find the digital root of E = W


STAGE 3 (In Park/At PLAQUE) To find the value of "Y" and "U"

Part I
- What is considered Allward's best known masterpiece?_____________________
- Find the letter value of the country where this memorial is located (A=1, B=2, . . .Y=25, Z=26, etc.) ________________
