Geocache Description:

Monday, August 21, 2017 from Noon to 3 PM 

 

 Join us a West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater, to celebrate and view the total eclipse of the sun (assuming clear skies) on August 21, 2017. The next one over the continental USA will be in 2024.

Partial Eclipse starts around 1 PM
  • Total Eclipse from about 2:35 to 2:38 PM.

Rember, CAUTION:

NEVER LOOK AT THE PARTIAL PHASES OF THE ECLIPSE WITHOUT PROPER EYE PROTECTION!
IT IS NEVER SAFE TO LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT PROTECTION AT ANY TIME WHEN ANY PART OF ITS BRIGHT DISK IS VISIBLE.
