Situado nas antigas pedreiras da família Gava junto ao rio Barigui, entre os municípios de Curitiba e Almirante Tamandaré, este parque - inaugurado em 23 de novembro de 1996 preserva a natureza num local destinado inicialmente para abrigar uma usina de reciclagem de caliça e lixo industrial. Posteriormente, em 6 junho de 1998 foi inaugurado, dentro do parque, o Jardim Poty Lazzarotto com: portal de acesso, mirante a 65m de altura, cascata e um grande jardim em estilo francês com canteiros de flores e espelhos d’água- de onde projeta-se o belvedere, na forma de terraço elevado em meio a um tapete verde. Nos três pisos do belvedere encontram-se distribuídos decks metálicos, bistrô, sanitários públicos, loja e torres para observação.
Located in the old quarries of the Gava family along the Barigui River, between the municipalities of Curitiba and Almirante Tamandaré, this park - inaugurated on November 23, 1996, preserves nature in a place originally intended to house a recycling plant of caliça and industrial waste. Later, on June 6, 1998, the Poty Lazzarotto Garden was inaugurated in the park, with an access portal, a 65m high gazebo, a waterfall and a large French-style garden with flower beds and water mirrors. The belvedere protrudes in the form of a raised terrace in the midst of a green carpet. On the three floors of the belvedere are distributed metallic decks, bistro, public toilets, shop and towers for observation.
