In the 1990s, every Francophone child in Canada knew Carmen Campagne and could hum her famous musical hit, Un bon chocolat chaud.
Referred to "the diva of young children", Carmen Campagne sold over a million records throughout Canada and France. The composer-songwriter has also won numerous awards, including four Félix in the category "Best Children's Album" and a Juno award.
In 2004, she was awarded the Order of Canada.
