Come and join us outside what used to be Alnwick Station between 17.30 and 18.00 on Thursday 10th August 2017. My sons and I will be waiting in the corner to the right of the entrance to the book shop which now resides in the old station buildings. (that is, to the right when stood outside looking towards the building)
We are on holiday from Yorkshire and it would be lovely to meet some local cachers (non-locals also welcome!).
The lovely SideTracked people have created a special badge for attendees of the event - see the Gallery. They have posted a note which contains details of where to obtain this badge from to display it on your profile. There is also a separate badge available for finding any SideTracked cache on the anniversary.
As mentioned, the old station buildings now house a rather large second hand bookshop. The shop is open until 19.00. The cafe will also be open - last orders for hot food are taken at 18.00, and for drinks / cold food at 18.30. I am told parking is limited, but that there is plenty nearby and in Alnwick itself.
