When thinking about what kind of cache to place, two things came to mind. First, there aren't many Kid Friendly Caches. We could also use a good Travel Bug Hotel large enough to handle just about anything. So, why not combine them?
We have placed a five gallon bucket in front of a business that used to be an old gas station. We talked to the owners, who had heard about the game, and after explaining it to them were excited to be a part of it. So we have their permission to maintain this cache near the road on their property. No need for stealth on this one, you'll probably see the cache before you get stopped. Should be wheel chair accessible. Simple enough?
Kid Friendly: Easy to Find, Easy to Access and we're going to stock it with puzzle books, small coloring books, toys and other things that kids could use to occupy themselves while on the road. We ask that if you have stuff you can contribute to the cache, that you help us keep it stocked. Please, no crayons or other items that could melt. No food, snacks or candy.
Travel Bug Hotel: Here's a place to drop off or trade travel bugs if you're coming into or heading out of the City. I have placed a small white cylinder in the bucket for the travel bugs that will fit, if they are too large or it's too full please feel free to drop them with the kids swag. We ask that if you take one, you leave one. If you take one, log it as soon as possible and drop it within a reasonable period of time.
Congrats to soendker99 for being the First To Find! Huntrss is ahead of her on the log, but she was involved in the initial placement so she agreed, her log didn't count as FTF.
