Geocache Description:


You may be wondering if we ever have an eclipse of a star and we actually do!  A recent event occurred  in March of 2017 and was visible throughout most of the contiguous US, when the moon blocked a star from our sight.  The star involved, Aldebaran, is the brightest and one of the most colorful stars that can be hidden by the moon.  It disappeared behind the dark portion, or "limb" of an almost-first-quarter moon.  This event is called an occultation and occurs several times a month throughout the world.

This is a multi stage cache.  Step 1 is to watch the linked video to obtain the coded coords.  Here is the link: Click Here

After you have the coded coords, you will need to find the decoding puzzle located at the posted coords. You will have to enter thru the gate. Please lift up the chain on the gate and then replace as found when you leave! Solving properly will take you to the final!  The final is within walking distance.
