Povljana je smještena na jugu otoka Paga, u prekrasnoj prirodnoj uvali. Okrenuta zapadu zaštitila se od jakih vjetrova bure i juga. Zaštitu i utočište pruža i putniku s mora i onom na kopnu, zaljubljeniku u otočki krš i bilje okupano suncem i začinjeno solju. Tradicionalno, Povljana je bila poljoprivredno područje koje je stoljećima prehranjivalo veći dio otoka. Uz poljoprivredu, stanovništvo Povljane bavi se ribarstvom i stočarstvom. Do velikih promjena dolazi sredinom 20-og st. kada se u Povljani počinje razvijati turizam.
Povljana ima mnoge pješčane i šljunčane plaže s postepenim pristupom moru. Lokacija je vrlo pogodna za malu djecu i neplivače. Izrazito čisto more obiluje mnogim ribljim i drugim morskim vrstama, pa se u obližnjim uvalama mogu naći dagnje, posebno u Starom zaljevu. Povljana ima vrlo razvedenu obalu sa brojnim valama i plažama. Uz more se proteže osvijetljena šetnica, gdje se mogu voziti i role, skate ili voziti bicikl. Povljana je prije svega mirno dalmatinsko mjesto, ali u srcu turističke sezone lokalna turistička zajednica organizira bogat kulturni i društveni program.
Ovaj cache vas vodi kroz stari dio grada koji je je na uzvisini. Kroz 6 mjesta sakupiti ćete potrebne informacije koje treba unijeti u formulu kako biste došli do finalnih koordinata. Nadam se da ćete uživati kroz šetnju gradom. Put započinje na početnim koordinatama:
WP1: Na početnim koordinatama nalazite se ispred turističkog ureda. Na zapadnoj strani zgrade kojih deset metara od početnih koordinata se na zidu nalazi jedna ploča gdje se spominje vodovod. Jedini broj na toj ploči neka bude slovo A. (Radi se o dvoznamenkastom broju)
WP2: Na ovim koordinatama nalazite se ispred općine Povljana. Zgrada je nedavno obnovljena, a vaš zadatak je prebrojati stepenice ispred ulaza u zgradu. To će biti slovo B.
WP3: Nalazite se na glavnome trgu Povljane. Oko vas su razni kafići, a preko ljeta u sezoni ovdje je i pozornica sa bogatim kulturnim programom. Vaš zadatak je pronaći pekarnicu. Na jednoj ploči spomenuta su tri vremena. Drugo ( tj. srednje) vrijeme će biti slovo C. Nedostaje važna informacija pa je rješenje broj 12.
WP4: na zadanim koordinatama se nalaze stepenice. Ako se popnete njima naći ćete se na na najvišem dijelu Povljane. Uzima se u obzir samo zadnji set stepenica (broj je manji od 7). Broj tih stepenica će biti slovo D.
WP5: Ove koordinate vas vode na maleni trgić ispred crkve. Na jednom dijelu je veliki zvonik a na njemu je jedna ploča. Vaš zadatak je naći godinu na toj ploči a zadnja znamenka te godine će biti slovo E.
WP6: Zadnje mjesto je stari bunar koji je nedavno obnovljen. Kako je Povljana bila u prošlosti poljoprivredno mjesto voda je značila život. Vaš zadatak je proučiti sami bunar tj, prednja dva ćoška bunara. Ako ne računamo gornju ploču koliko redova kamena imamo na tim ćoškovima? To će biti slovo F. (broj je manji od 5).

Povljana is located in the south of the Pag island in a beautiful natural bay. Orientated to the west, Povljana is protected from the strong winds named: „bora“ and „jugo“. From the sea and from the land it provides shelter to the traveler, who enjoys the island karst and plants bathed in sun and spiced with salt. Traditionally, Povljana was an agricultural area that has fed most of the Pag islanders for centuries. Alongside agriculture, the population of Povljana also breeds cattle and works on fisheries. The great changes occur in the mid-20th century with the development of tourism.
Povljana has many sandy and pebble beaches with easy access to the sea. The location is suitable for young children and non-swimmers. Extremely clear sea is abundant with many fish and other sea species, so various shells can be found in nearby coves, especially in the Old Bay. Povljana has a very indented coastline with numerous beaches. Along to the sea stretches a lighted promenade, where you can skate, rollerblade or ride a bike. Povljana is, above all, a quiet Dalmatian place, but in the heart of the tourist season the local tourist community organizes a rich cultural and social program.
This cache takes you through the old part of the city located on a hill. Passing through 6 places you will gather the information you need to enter in the formula to reach the final coordinates. I hope you enjoy your walk through the city. The path begins at the starting coordinates:
WP1: The initial coordinates position you in front of the tourist office. On the west side of the building, ten meters from the initial coordinates, there is a plate on the wall mentioning waterworks. The only number on that board should represent the letter A. (This is a two-digit number)
WP2: These coordinates place you in front of the Povljana municipality. The building has recently been restored, and your task is to count the stairs in front of the entrance to the building. This will be the letter B.
WP3: You are now at the Povljana main square. There are various cafes around you, and during the summer season there is also a stage with a rich cultural program. Your job is to find a bakery. Three time periods are mentioned on one panel. The second (i.e. middle) time period will be the letter C. As crucial information is missing, solution of this WP is 12.
WP4: these coordinates mark stairs. If you climb them you will find yourself on the highest part of Povljana. Only the last part of the stairs is taken into account (the number is less than 7). The number of these stairs will be the letter D.
WP5: These co-ordinates lead you to a tiny spot in front of the church. You will notice a large bell tower with a plate on it. Your task is to find the year on that plate and the last digit of that year will be the letter E.
WP6: The last place is an old well that has recently been restored. As Povljana was in the past agricultural land, water meant life. Your job is to study the well itself, the first two corners of the well. If we do not count the upper panel how many rows of stones are there on these corners? This will be the letter F. (the number is less than 5).
