Geocache Description:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the coordinates above. I'm sure they would take you to a very nice location where you could enjoy God's creation. However, if you want to find this cache, I don't recommend going there; I recommend solving the puzzle instead.

Note: This cache is being published in conjunction with GC75TFR, The Miami Valley Caching Conundrum #38, hosted by VPPLAYER.

This month's topic is Thermometers. If you've got the puzzle fever, this will let you know where you stand!

Thermometers is a simple(?) logic game. Your goal is to figure out how many cells of each thermometer are filled. Because it's a thermometer, it must be filled starting from the base (circular portion) and moving toward the top of the thermometer. To assist you, the puzzles contain numbers outside the grid, which indicate the number of cells in the row/column that are filled.

To find the coords for this cache, you will need to solve the 4 puzzles below. Each puzzle will give you two digits toward the final coords, which are in the form N39 4A.BCD W084 0E.FGH. Simply solve the puzzle, count how many of the cells containing an A are filled, and that's the value for A in the coords. It's a proverbial "piece of cake"!

Hint: for puzzle #1, two of the numbers (a 1 and a 2) appear they could apply to either a row or column. Indeed, they apply to both the row and the column.

Here we go! Good luck!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
