Geocache Description:

This mini series of caches will show off some of the other granite on Gibraltar peak. - Sure, the most impressive granite is at the top, but there are still some impressive collections down from the summit. This series will offer everything from clambering over boulders, to squeezing into chasms and discovering a wonderfull grotto!

The best way to do this series is in order. Follow the provided summit track as far as possible in each instance, and then leave the track to find the cache, never more that 150m from the track. Make sure to allow a few hours and to bring enough water - climbing around here is thirsty work. Also, make sure you bring a copy of the spoiler pics for each cache - GPS and Mobile reception in some of these places is rather dicey at best!

Notes:
1. This cache is only available during daylight hours when Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is open!
2. Bring your own pen.

Gibraltar Granite IV
Here you will find yourself at the grand finale of this mini series. (I saved the best for last ) It is also the hardest to get to, but well worth it! To find the cache you need to enter deep into the bowels of the grotto - and unless you are a contortionist - there is only one way in. I absolutely loved this location, and think it rivals the cave at Legoland. The pointing finger / wave rock high above the main room is amazing!
