2000. május harmadikán lett kitelepítve az Egyesült Államok Oregon megyéjében a korszakalkotó első hivatalos geoláda, Magyarországon egy évre rá, 2001. június 24-én került publikálásra az első doboz, a Pilisborosjenőhöz közeli erdős részen, ahol Várkonyi Zoltán Egri csillagok című filmjéhez felépült az egri vár mása.
Ünnepeljük meg a magyar geoládázás kezdetének évfordulóját együtt egy nagy, közösségi eseménnyel!

Helyszín: Pilisborosjenőhöz közel, az egri vár díszletnél és az első magyar geoláda közelében
Időpont: 2017. június 24. szombat, délelőtt tíztől kora estig
Közlekedési lehetőségek: Volánbusszal az Árpád híd buszállomástól Pilisborosjenőig, a Szent Vendel emlékműtől gyalogosan megközelíthető; autóval a 10-es úton, majd Ürömön át Pilisborosjenőre, parkolási lehetőség a Szent Vendel emlékmű mellett.
TB Futam
Az eseményen elindítjuk a 4. Magyar TB Futamot. Amennyiben szeretnéd megmérettetni utazódat egy világra szóló versenyen, regisztráld 2017. június 24-ig ezen a linken, hozd el az eseményre vagy 2017. június 25-én helyezd el egy budapesti ládában.
Túra a Kevélyekre
A délután folyamán közös ládakeresést szervezünk a Nagy-Kevély és Kis-Kevély hegyekre. A túra hossza mintegy 8 km lesz, három erősebb kaptatóval, kb. +/- 500 m szintemelkedéssel. A túra során többször megállunk pihenni, illetve lesz lehetőség a rövidítésre is, ha valakinek túl sok lenne a teljes táv. Aki végig velünk tart az egyedi kilátásokban gyönyörködhet, meglátogathatja a Medve-barlangot és felkeresheti a Kevély Geo Trail állomásait.

On May 3rd, 2000, the first ever geocache was placed in the US state of Oregon. More than a year later, on June 24th, 2001, Hungary received its first geocache near the Fake Castle that was constructed for the 1968 historical film Egri csillagok (Eclipse of the Crescent Moon / Stars of Eger) by director Zoltán Várkonyi.
Let's celebrate the 16th birthday of Hungarian geocaching with an exclusive event!
Program
Basic info
Location: Near the town of Pilisborosjenő, at the Fake Castle and the very first Hungarian geocache.
Date: Saturday, June 24th, from 10AM to the early evening hours.
How to get there: By Volán national bus service, traveling to Pilisborosjenő and going on foot from the St. Vendel memorial (next to the parking waypoint); by car, leaving Budapest to the northwest on road number 10 and heading to Pilisborosjenő through Üröm, parking available at the waypoint.
TB Run
This event will be the starting point of the 4th Hungarian TB race. If you want to enter your trackable in this global tour of caches, register it at this link until June 24th, 2017. Make sure to bring your TB to the event or place it in a Budapest cache on the 25th of June!
Tour of the Kevély hills
As part of the event, we will set off on a walking round trip of the Kevély hills near the Castle. The length of the tour is about 8kms, including three steep climbs, resulting in a total height difference of +/- 500 meters. During the tour, we will stop at designated times to rest (and to look for caches), and if you don't feel yourself up to the task or get tired along the way, there's a chance of shortening the trip to get back to the Castle and Event Headquarters. If you choose to accompany us on the whole length of the tour, you'll be able to see some beautiful panoramic sights, visit Uncle Bear's cave, and log all the caches on the Kevély Geo Trail.
