At an early age, Fatouma Tshiswaka already knew what she wanted to do in life: become a fashion designer. Her first contact with the world of sewing was through her mother, in her homeland, the Democratic Republic of Congo. She helped her mother in her workshop and she improved her skills by completing a diploma in dressmaking and design in 2003.
Fatouma arrived in Canada with her family n 2007. She opened a business in Regina: FT Design Fashion. For her, every person is unique, just like the pieces she creates.
This Fransaskois businesswoman knows how to spread her culture through creations that delight her many clients.

Toute jeune, Fatouma Tshiswaka savait déjà ce qu’elle voulait faire dans la vie : devenir créatrice de mode. C’est auprès de sa mère, dans sa République démocratique du Congo natale, qu’elle entre en contact avec le monde de la couture. Elle aidera celle-ci dans son atelier et perfectionnera son savoir-faire en complétant un diplôme en couture et design en 2003.
Fatouma arrive avec sa famille au Canada en 2007. C’est à Regina qu’elle se lancera finalement en affaires avec sa compagnie FT Design Fashion. Pour elle, chaque personne est unique, tout comme les pièces qu’elle crée.
Cette femme d’affaires fransaskoise sait faire rayonner sa culture au travers de ses créations qui font la joie de ses nombreux clients.
