Geocache Description:

A straightforward two stage multi. The cache at the final location is a 35ml bison tube.

Tuddenham St Mary has three war memorials remembering those villagers who served their country and lost their lives at war.

The village green is home to two and the third, a framed roll of honour to those lost in WW1, is located in the church.

The co-ordinates will take you the World War One / Great War memorial on the village green. This was built and unveiled in December 2014 and is dedicated to all 80 veterans from the village who served in WW1 and remembers the 11 men who sadly never returned.

How many benches can you see within a few metres of this war memorial = A

How many paving slabs surround this memorial = B

The memorial located just behind this one is dedicated to those who served their country as members of XC Squadron RAF. XC Squadron, also known as 90 Squadron was based for a time at Tuddenham airfield, which was one of the new bomber airfields built on land to the east of the village, partly on Cavenham Heath.

Down the left hand side of this memorial (as you look towards the bus stop) you will see a list of planes that flew from Tuddenham. Underneath 'Valiant' there is a year 19CD.

The cache is a short walk away, and can be found at:
N 52. 19.(B-A-C)(D-5)(B+C-D)
E 000.33. (C-5)(C-A)(D-5)

Please do not park on the green, there is plenty of parking available at the nearby recreation ground or on the High Street.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.

**** Well done ElFozzo69 on a very quick FTF :-) ****
