Geocache Description:

E = Ameriški glasbenik, avtor izvirnika prve uspešnice ene najbolj značilnih skupin t.i.

Eighth day was a supplemental day that according to the first Slovenian/Yugoslavian punk band Pankrti somebody up there spent in creating rock music. Conventional number of days of the week that starts on Monday is, however, seven. To find this cache, any day of the week will be good. The cache is not on published coordinates. There, with a lot of luck and in good weather, you could find a hint or inspiration for solving the puzzle or even the solution. But don't count on it. Faster way to the cache is to get the numbers for A-G from the descriptions below. Get busy!

A = First song from the first album of a legendary band from the 1960's is a song of restless feeling and paranoia in the morning of this day of the week. The motive was suggested by the band's artistic mentor, one of the most important names in the fine art of the 20th century, who designed the cover with the unmistakable yellow fruit.

B = Lively and melodic song about feeling in love, brought on by this day. British band, one of the principal groups of a distinct counterculture, characterized by pale faces, black dyed hair and black make-up, recorded it towards the end of its most creative period in the early years of the last decade of the second millennium.

C = Legendary American musician and actor with characteristic husky voice and fedora hat searched for the heart of the night of this day on his second studio album, recorded more than 40 years ago. At the beginning of his career, when he was an owner of a bad liver and a broken down Volvo, he became famous for his piano bar act.

D = Greatest hit of somewhat forgotten Irish band from the end of the 1970's. The author - leader of the band, best known for his large humanitarian projects from mid-1980's - got the inspiration for the song when during an interview a telex machine (does anyone still know what that is?) next to him printed out the news about an elementary school shooting by a 16-year old Californian girl. She told the police she didn't like this day of the week and livened it up that way.

or

D = Minor hit of American brother and sister duo is telling us of how this day and rainy days always bring a feeling of depression. Their soft and melodic pop promoted them to one of the best-selling musical artists of all time during more than a decade of their career that ended in early 1980's by sister's death from complications of anorexia.

E = American musician, author of the original song covered by one of the most characteristic bands of so called New Primitivism movement as their first hit and otherwise well known for his concerts in prisons, believes that only the cars, assembled on this day of the week, could be trusted.

F = This day of the week is also a girl name. An American band, named after their physical education teacher with no tolerance for longhaired students, was aware of that. Girl of this name, who was gone with the wind, is the protagonist of one of their most popular songs, a classical romantic rock ballad.

G = one of the »fairytales« of a Scottish troubadour guitarist from his album from mid 1960's is a moody impression of an early evening on this day of the week on one of the Channel islands. During that time, the British press was uncritically creating a rivalry between him and the greatest name of American folk music.
