Puisqu'il n'y a pas eu de maintenance dans un laps de temps raisonnable, j'archive cette cache définitivement.

Les Gabares

Dans le village de Tribehou vous y verrez sous un abri les restes d'une ancienne gabare. Elle a été construite en 1908 et fût l'une des dernières à naviguer.

In the village of Tribehou you will see under a shelter made of earth the remains of an old Gabare. It was built in 1908 and was one of the last to sail.

La Forge

Maurice Lepetit (1921 - 2017) est né en 1921, un an après la construction de la nouvelle forge. Dans sa famille, on était forgeron et maréchal-ferrant par tradition, avec des ancêtres « aiguilletiers » ou taillandiers. C’est en 1750 qu’un de ses aïeuls créa la première forge Lepetit. Lui, il débuta sa carrière en 1935, au côté de son père, de sa mère et de son frère.

À son retour de la guerre, en 1945, Tribehou vivait de nouveau au son de l’enclume. En 1986, Maurice Lepetit est parti à la retraite. Il avait légué sa forge à la commune de Tribehou vers 2005, afin que ce patrimoine soit conservé.

Maurice Lepetit (1921 - 2017), was born in 1921, a year after the construction of the new forge. In his family, he was a blacksmith and farrier by tradition, with ancestors "aiguilletiers" or taillandiers. It was in 1750 that one of his ancestors created the first forge Lepetit. He began his career in 1935, alongside his father, his mother and his brother. On his return from the war, in 1945, Tribehou lived again at the sound of the anvil. In 1986, Maurice Lepetit retired. He had bequeathed his forge to the commune of Tribehou around 2005, so that this heritage is preserved.
