If these walls could talk what an interesting story they would tell. This stately building began its life as the county courthouse (only after the records were moved in an unapproved midnight move from Granite). Later it served as a school, one can almost still hear the sound of children as you walk up the majestic center staircase. Now, this grand building in downtown Buena Vista enjoys its honor as the Heritage Museum, delighting visitors with its interesting area history displays. The museum includes an amazing model railroad.
