Geocache Description:

This cache is place in honor of MOGA 2017, the First Mega Geocaching Event in Kansas.  The goal of the committee was to pay homage to our gracious host, so each event cache is named after one of the 105 Counties that make up the state.  

This cache is in honor of Marion County, Kansas
Marion County is located in central Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the county population was 12,660.  The county seat is Marion. The county was named in honor of Francis Marion, a Brigadier General of the American Revolutionary War, known as the "Swamp Fox". (Wikipedia)
