Geocache Description:

This cache is place in honor of MOGA 2017, the First Mega Geocaching Event in Kansas.  The goal of the committee was to pay homage to our gracious host, so each event cache is named after one of the 105 Counties that make up the state.

 

This cache is in honor of Lane County, Kansas
Lane County is located in western Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the county population was 2,150, making it the third-least populous county in Kansas. The county seat is Dighton, the only city in the county. The county was named after James H. Lane who was a leader of the Jayhawker abolitionist movement and served as one of the first U.S. Senators from Kansas. (Wikipedia)
