This cache is place in honor of MOGA 2017, the First Mega Geocaching Event in Kansas. The goal of the committee was to pay homage to our gracious host, so each event cache is named after one of the 105 Counties that make up the state.

Jackson County is located in north eastern Kansas. As of the 2010 census, the county population was 13,462. Its county seat and most populous city is Holton.
