Geocache Description:

This will be an easy park and grab. It is a popular boat launch for fishermen and folks fishing from shore so be mindful of Muggles

First second and third to find prizes are West German coins from before the Berlin wall came down

When the county first stated they would be placing a guardrail here, I was skeptical that it would interfere with launching my boat.Thankfully it does not impede launch at all. There was certainly a need for somthing to be done here. The launch is a part of Kenowa Road where it is interrupted by the lake.  Kenowa takes up again on the other side of the lake at another launch that is in a more populated area.

I know of at least three deaths that occured here; two because drivers did not know about the lake, and one because it used to be a teenage challenge to drive across the lake on the ice. One poor fellow did not make it because he was in the back seat and couldn't get out fast enough. So this guardrail and the associated signage indicating the road ends are truly a lifesaver.
