Cette géocache vous invite devant des formes impressionnantes du granite rose de Trégastel qui sont apelées des crapauds ! Elle nécessite de se rendre sur le wayoint en suivant le sentier de randonnée cotier. Elle est fréquement recouvert par la marée, soyez donc vigilant aux horraires.
De nombreuses Formes surprenantes ont vues le jour sur le massif granitique local suite à des évènements géologiques de plus de 300 millions d'année sous la croûte continentale. Sur le rendez vous du waypoint photo 1, vous pourrez observer l'activité de mélange des magmas. Les enclaves noiratres des gabbros (magma mantellique) sont visibles parmi les cristaux de feldspaths roses. Quand le feldspath fait une réaction chimique dans le gabbros noiratre, un rapakivi comme une auréole apparait. Ce mot provient du finlandais sousentendant un granite pourri.
