Ovaj Earthcache se nalazi u malom kanjonu Grdoselskog potoka, gdje možemo vidjet razne oblike koji su se oblikovali, ali glavna tema su nam vrtložni lonci.
Vrtložni lonci su rupe ili udubljenja u koritu rijeke. Oni su primjer kako tekuća voda oblikuje područje trošenjem, erozijom, pomicanjem i taloženjem.
Na obje lokacije možete vidjeti vrtložne lonce raznih veličina. Vrtložni lonac je kružna ili cilindrične rupe u koritu rijeke koji je nastao silom vode i abrazijom (struganjem). Rupa nastaje kada kružni tok vode nosi male kamenčiće i sediment, te počinje trošiti površinu stijene. Snaga vode i sedimenta koji nosi voda je veći od otpornosti stijene. Nakon što je proces počeo, on se nastavlja, a stijena na tom mjestu sve više erodira.
Da bi mogli logirat Earthcache postavit ću Vam nekoliko pitanja, a Vi mi pošaljite odgovore na mail, ne morate čekat moj odgovor već slobodno logirajte, ako nešto nije u redu kontaktirat ću Vas.
1. Promotrite na početnim koordinatama stijene korita potoka i opišite ih, po vašem mišljenju koja su to stijene?
2. Što mislite što uzrokuje nastajanje ovih vrtložnih lonaca objasnite svojim riječima.
3. Dali ovdje vidite samo vrtložne lonce ili ima i odlomljenih vrtložnih lonaca i što mislite zašto se to dešava?
4. Dok idete do stage 2 dali vidite u nastajanju nove vrtložne lonce?
5. Na stage 2 tamo ćete vidjet jedan lijepi primjer vrtložnog lonca, izmjerite njegovu širinu i dubinu (Spoiler).
6. Napravite fotografiju sebe (fotografijom na kojima je gps/mobitel, ruka ili noga NE ispunjavate zadatak i log će biti obrisan)ili papira s vašim nikom sa jedne od lokacija EC-a te ju stavite u svoj log

Dieser Earthcache befindet sich in einer kleinen Schlucht von Grdoselski potok, wo wir eine Vielzahl von Formen sehen können, die vom Wasser gebildet wurden, aber das Hauptthema sind Strudellöcher.
Strudellöcher sind beispielhaft, wie fließendes Wasser die Landoberfläche durch Verwitterung, Erosion, Transport und Ablagerung formen kann.
An den Orten sieht man einen Teil eines Strudelloches. Ein Strudelloch ist ein kreisförmiges oder zylindrisches Loch im Flussbett, das durch Gewalt von Wasser und Abrieb erzeugt wird. Ein Strudelloch wird gebildet, wenn ein kreisförmiger Strom von Wasser, der kleine Kieselsteine trägt, und Sediment beginnt, eine Felsenoberfläche zu tragen. Die Kraft des Wassers und des Sediments, das es trägt, ist größer als der Widerstand des Felsens. Sobald der Prozess begonnen hat, fährt er fort und der Fels an dieser Stelle verschwindet weiter und es bildet sich ein Strudelloch.

3. Sehen Sie nur Strudellöcher oder auch gebrochen Strudellöcher und warum dies geschieht?
4. Während Sie zu Stage 2 gehen, können Sie neue endstehende Strudellöcher sehen?
5. Auf Stage 2 gibt es ein schönes Beispiel für ein Strudelloch, bitte messe die Breite und Tiefe (spoiler).
6. Mache ein Foto von sich selbst (Foto das ein GPS/Handy, Hand oder Bein zeigt, erfüllen NICHT die Aufgabe und werden gelöscht) oder Papier mit Ihrem Nick an einer der Lokation des EC und bitte zum Log hohladen.

This Earthcache is located in a small canyon Grdoselski potok, where we can see a variety of shapes that have been formed, but the main theme of our potholes.
Potholes i san exemple of how flowing water shapes the land surface through weathering, erosion,transport and deposition.
On bothe locations you may see a portion of a pothole. A pothole is a circular or cylindrical hole in the riverbed which is produced by force of water and abrasion. A pothole is formed when a circular current of water carrying small pebbles and sediment begins to wear away a rock surface. The force of water and the sediment it carries is greater than the resistance of the rock. Once the process has begun, it continues and the rock in that location continues to erode away.
In order to log this EarthCache I will ask you several questions and you should send your answers to my e-mail. You don’t have to wait for my confirmation, feel free to log the find as son as you send your answers. If there are problems with your answers, I will contact you.
1. Consider on the initial coordinates the rock in the bed of the brook and describe them, in your opinion, what are the rocks?
2. What do you think causes the formation of the potholes explain in your own words.
3. Do you see only a potholes or there are broken potholes and why do you think this happens?
