Σκίπιζα: Περιοχή στα ΒΔ της Πάρνηθας σε ύψος 1.250μ.περίπου.
Το πυροφυλάκιο της Σκίπιζα βρίσκεται στην ομώνυμη θέση σε ύψος 1.300μ. Μια πραγματική «Αετοφωλιά», που το 1987, με την ίδρυση της ΕΔΑΣΑ (Εθελοντές Δασοπροστασίας Αττικής), επιλέχθηκε ως η ιδανικότερη θέση επόπτευσης των Δυτικών και Βορείων πλαγιών του ευρύτερου ορεινού όγκου της Πάρνηθας.
15’ λεπτά νοτίως του πυροφυλακίου, στα 1210μ βρίσκεται η πηγή της Σκίπιζας. Αναφέρεται [Ι.Σαρρής, «Αι πηγαί της Πάρνηθας» 1925], ως η υψηλότερη, η ψυχρότερη και η καλύτερη από άποψη ποιότητας πηγή της Πάρνηθας.

The wildfire observation station of Skipiza is located in the position of the same name at 1.300m., on the NW side of Parnitha. A real «Eagle’s nest», that in 1987, with the establishment of EDASA (Forest Fire Protection Volunteers of Attica) was selected by members of the association as the ideal position for observing the western and northern slopes of the wider Parnitha mountain.
