This cache is hidden along side a 4x4 road near cow flat creek. The hike is 9 miles round trip with 1000 feet of elevation gain. I am told you can drive this road when the gate is open. If you do try and drive, procede with caution as the road is narrow, slippery, and has a very steep cliff on one side. With the heavy rainfail this year the hike is beautiful with several water crossings. I saw lots of critters as well. The view of the canyon from this vantage is incredible. The cache location is a great spot to take a break and have a snack. There is another cache about 2 miles down the road as well. The scenery gets even better if you decide to go on.
