This 79.8 acre park, located at NE 76th and N. Antioch, is the pride of the Gladstone Parks System. This park offers 5 lighted ball fields, 4 soccer fields, 4 lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, 3 playgrounds, restrooms, drinking fountains and a 1.3 mile fitness trail that circles the park.
I frequent this park on my walks and there are a number of caches hidden in the park. Unfortunately the park is in need of some cleanup, especially on the north side. We will meet up at the posted coordinates at 9:00AM, spread out in the park, and work to find as much trash as we can in two hours. I will provide trash bags. Afterwards don't forget the lunch event at Pizza Ranch!
