Constructed in the late 1970s Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter (DQ) is a lush green environment full of beautiful parks, gardens and fountains. Around the perimiter of the DQ is a picturesque hiking trail about 15 km in length. With parking a few hundred meters away from this cache it can be accessed quickly or as part of a hike around the beautiful walking trail.
This is the first of a series of geocaches hidden for the outdoor education students at King Faisal school located next to the American embassy in the DQ. The students are new to geocaching and for many of them this cache will be their first find as they explore the hiking trail next to the school.
