VS #1032 Shelfanger Traditional Geocache

Village signs is a series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).

Shelfanger is a village situated about 3 miles from the town of Diss in Norfolk, England. There is a church and a village hall in the village.

In years gone by there were a school, a post office, a pub, three shops and a blacksmiths. These have all now been closed down, Josh Kirby (died 2001), an artist lived there.
