SideTracked - Littleport Traditional Geocache

The cache is a dark-coloured plastic tube hidden near the station; the road is busy here so have a care for safety at all times. There are many places nearby from which you can get a good view of the station and platforms. Here's what it looks like now:

This an old postcard view of Littleport station which is taken from much the same angle as the modern view above, but from a higher location (probably the signal box). Apart from the nearby houses and trees (and a lack of platform shelters), the station has not altered very much.

The station is on the Fen Line from Cambridge to King's Lynn, which is an electrified line. It is also served by Great Northern as part of their service from London King's Cross to King's Lynn.
