Every three years hundreds of Cub Scouts, Junior Guides, Leaders and Adult Helpers descend on Camp Cottermouth for a five day camp. The cubs and guides are split into search crews and they rotate through six activity bases to complete 24 activities over three days. The activities are fantastic and something the cubs and guides have never experienced before. Each night there is a special ceremony and every morning they gather in the parade ground where the Ceremonies Team entertain all and are full of surprises. Cubs come from across Australia and as far away as Papua New Guinea to participate and take home wonderful memories of friends and fun.
Every Cuboree has its own theme - eg the 2017 theme was 'Imagination'. The activities, games and crew names are built around this theme, so every Cuboree is different.
This area can be very busy when the scouts are camping in the area so please be mindful of muggles and safety and consider attempting the cache at another time during these busy times.
