Se trata de una locomotora de vapor, marca Baldwin traída al país en 1940, fue testigo de una época de gloria y decadencia para el imperio bananero que afloró en la zona sur entre 1930 y 1980, el ferrocarril fue el medio de transporte del banano desde las fincas hasta los puertos y el medio de comunicación más importante para la zona. La “Locomotora 84” fue restaurada gracias a la labor de la comunidad
